Ok, I finally decided on the HD70 for it's cheaper price tag, cheaper bulb, and longer warranty over the HD1000U. Got a question for you HD70 owners though, how does this thing handle 480p? I'm gonna have a Wii hooked up to this and it may be awhile before I have an upconverting DVD player and I still have a few PS2 games I need to beat before I move on the PS3. I'll buy it no matter what because I doubt the HD1000U does much better and I really want HD so I don't intend to buy an XVGA PJ but I was just curious what to expect so I'm not too disappointed when I get it hooked up and see a pixelated, artifacty image.
