I can't get my 360 to recognize any of the broadcasted streams from my PC via Tversity. It connects to the PC just fine, but it won't pick up any files. I have gone through all of the settings numerous times and restarted both machines numerous times.
Any ideas?

Tversity sucks. Try this one. www.orb.com real easy to setup and streams on the fly alot easier.

Id check your firewall..Also its easier to test the streaming with mp3s and wmvs. I have codec problems on my machine and Ive worked and worked with TVersity to no avail, cant stream DIVX, but nonetheless can stream mp3s and wmvs

It's definitely a firewall setting. I had the same problems getting my Xbox 360 to recognize my TVersity server. After some troubleshooting, I found out that my Kerio firewall was configured to not allow any incoming connections to TVersity and the mediaserver application it uses. Once I changed those incoming connections to 'allow', my Xbox 360 was able to recognize the TVersity server.

Ive also figured out that my 2.6ghz HT machine couldnt transcode well enough at 720P resolutions and was blocky on a .mkv 720p file, so have found to simply have better results if I use encode360 to encode all divx/xvid material to .wmv rather than attempt to transcode it on the fly. Still kinda ticked I cant get the divx transcode thing working correctly. At one point had an upside down picture on the TV, and everyone said switch to lower version of ffdshow. Did that and lost all transcoding ability :p
