Well I finally got the Planet Earth HD DVD series, that I pre-ordered back in February at Amazon yesterday. I must say it was well worth the wait! I refused to wacth the series on Discovery HD channel because David Attenborough was not used, plus commercials and in 1080i. This series was designed for David Attenborough and to cut him out, is almost blastphemous?

The Series itself is great, and the Video and Sound is the best I have ever seen a documentary. I'm using a Toshiba XA2 and a Sony KDL-40V2500 with a Yamaha YSP-800 DSP. I fully endorse this HD DVD quality, and those who like this kind of thing...don't hesitate.

It was already said to have been on the HD showing on Discovery. I doubt very much it's just a BD issue.

Cool. Just curious. Same codec and everything. Minor problem, if at all! Still a keeper for me. Some people are too paticular, not me!
