Hi,
I have a replaytv that I've been recording shows on for my mom and then burning them on dvd. She doesn't want to learn how to work "fancy" equipment.

What technologies are there that would help me record a show and then have her watch it from her TV at her house?
I've been searching the net for stuff but I can't find any. It's very odd that such devices are rare.
It doesn't have to be HD or anything, these shows are international programs on DISH and they're bad quality to begin with.

Any ideas?

If she had a PC and a DSL connection, she could use SageTV Placeshifter and stream them live from your house.

Dunno about canned devices though - doesn't the slingbox do something like this?

I have been reading about the slingbox and I think it has this capeability, but I like your Idea about sageTV. I'll read up it.
