Hey guys!

I was finally able to pick up a Wii a few weeks ago and now have all 3 next gen consoles - 360, PS3 and Wii. Since all 3 are backwards compatible, that makes all 3 last gen consoles (XBOX, PS2 and Gamecube) expendable.

What can I realisticly look to get for each console? All 3 are in mint condition/adult owned and are complete with: the console, a/v / power cables, one controller, manuals and boxes. I also have accessories - 1 extra controller for the XBOX, memory card and wireless controller (LOGITECH) for the PS2 and extra controller and memory card for the Gamecube.

If I went to put these up on ebay, would it be better to bundle the specific accessories with each specific console or sell them seperately?

Thanks in advance.

I would definitely bundle any and all accessories/games you want to get rid of with the system. Doing a quick eBay scan, depending on how many games you have, I saw the following:

Xbox: Between $40 and $85
Gamecube: Between $31 and $91
PS2: Between Between $51 and $100

Again, all depends on number of games + accessories. Plus, component cables are always a plus.

Gamestop gives $45 credit for a new model PS2 and $40 for an old. I think the Xbox is less and the Gamecube less again. That's for just the system. You get very little for extra accessories.

Ebay is your best bet unless you can get a friend to buy them...

Just like the stock market, a good proxy for value tends to be found among recent completed transactions. Check ebay and take a look at completed auctions that were completed (green as opposed to red). Find a few that are somewhat representative of what you are offering and that should give you an idea. Maybe also provide some insight on how to realize the best value by proper bundling of items, formatting of the auction, and titling for friendly searches.

Maybe also think about craigs list in your area. Trade-ins are rarely a good deal monetarily but offer the smoothest exit with something tangible.
