Well, I was just thinking about how some of the baseball playoffs will be on TBS this year and a few years after. Now, I don't get TBS in HD, so will I have to watch playoff baseball in SD? That would be horrible.

And sorry if this has already been covered, I didn't see anything in a search.

Reported/Rumored to be launched around September.

TBS HD exists only locally right now for the Atlanta DMA but will eventually be launched nationally! When is the only question. Possibly this fall.

Technically not the same TBS
Thats WTBS-HD

It's easier to just consider them 2 different channels with mostly simulcasted programming

Of course it will be a strech-o-channel just like TNT.

Seinfeld, Friends, Home Improvement will be streched. Atleast Raymond and King of Queens will look nice.

And Turner said later that Cartoon and TBS HD versions will also launch in September.

too funny but true probably 90% of the time - and a DISGRACE

TNT-HD is sort of like a half baked hi def version of GUMBY
