Anyone please educate me on this. Do DLP TV's suffer from refresh/response rates problems like an LCD set might. My LCD has an 8ms response time. Does a DLP set have an issue like during heavy fast action or is it instanteous redraw?

I am heavy into gaming, I just bought the new Samsung 46" "T" series 1080p and I was under the impression 8ms was pretty fast. I was also under the impression LCDs were the best sets for gaming. I personally don't think it is fast enough when I swing my perspective around quickly (aim a gun) I can see buildings and such trying to redraw leaving a ghost like effect I find very annoying. Do DLP's and or plasmas have this same issue? Was I mislead into buying the wrong set type for my heavy gaming habits?

Thanks

DLPs do not suffer from lagging in displaying fast moving objects.

I think DLP sets are much faster than LCDs. I am a PC gamer and tried the 2ms Viewsonic LCD and ended up going back to my Mitsubishi Diamond CRT moniter becouse of the poor response time.

Per the DLP site:

The ultra-fast DLP® chip has an unparalleled 16 microsecond pixel response time. HDTVs and projectors powered by DLP® chip deliver a precise, razor-sharp picture, making it ideal for sports, action-packed or fast-moving scenes and gaming.

How do you DLP guys handle the way a DLP screen shifts when you move around in a room.

I bought this exspensive LCD screen and I am sick I might have made a mistake. I play Xbox 360 and the motion blur I was discribing will drive me frickin nuts when a game like Halo 3 comes out.
