I just got a Samsung HL-S6187W and so far I'm very happy with it. Here's my question: I'm using a VGA cable to connect my Xbox 360 for 1080p HD-DVD playback and also SD-DVD upscaling. The VGA image is great quality but it doesn't fill the complete size of the TV - there's a black border around it.

I can't find anything in the TV setup menus that will let me expand the image size to fill up the entire screen. I can shift the image left/right/up/down but I can't seem to be able to stretch the horizontal and vertical dimensions.

Am I stuck with the black border or is there something I can do?

Read the PC chapter in your Samsung users's manual it will explain all the options you including how to get rid of the black borders using your settings options for the VGA interface.

Thanks, I read that chapter however I couldn't find the relevant information. There was a section which suggested it could be done by using the P.SIZE button, but that button doesn't do anything when I press it. In fact none of the colored buttons (P.SIZE, STILL, MODE, etc) do anything when I press them. The LED on the set illuminates indicating that it's receiving a command from the remote, but nothing happens. Could this be a problem with the remote or the set?

EDIT: I was pressing the wrong button, LOL. Will check it out. Yes, I am a newb.
