And according to the second headline: 10,000 HD DVD discs bought on Amazon in one day...really? Are we really that crazy?

BTW, Blu-ray faithful didn't so much as move the needle last time they tried... :p ...then again that the needle moved for HD DVD was an indicator of just how small the market is. Not for long, I'm sure... :D

The 27th or 28th...hmm...will everyone be finished watching their copy of The Matrix Trilogy on HD DVD by then?... :cool:

I see one problem, at least for me. the end of may, there isn't anything for me to buy. I already pre-ordered everything I wanted until July.

Logically, there is none. The only necesiity for participation seems to be an ability to suspend belief in the law of averages. Just think of it like a four-leaf clover: it does nothing, but people like to believe it does.
