Seabiscuit
Batman Begins (one of the best comic book flicks of all time)

I've watched all of these a minimum of five times. CoM, actually, is the only one I've watched just 5 times since it's a new addition to the HD DVD library. The others, I've lost track, all well above 10 times either by myself or with friends and family...and I still look forward to watching them again. :D

Seabiscuit, Corpse Bride, The Departed, Children of Men, and Kiss, Kiss, Bang,

johnsmith808 04-29-07, 06:14 AM How many times would you have watched those same movies if it was only in sd-dvd? Hd-dvd has made some of us fall in love with movies all over again. It's a whole new experience. The amazing thing is that it has breathed new life into my older equipment. Everything is new again.

I've never seen POTO, only becaue I thought it was some musical, and I didn't hear anything great abou this movie. IS it some play for movies where thy sing through half of it? IS the movie good or is it only good to watch for the PQ?
johnsmith808 04-30-07, 11:57 PM They do sing a TON on POTO, but it really brings out the best in you audio and video setup. I'm not one for musicals, but the quality was so good, I couldn't help but enjoy it. Give it a shot.
I luv POTO. Like'd the stage musical and the movie. But do you ever have the feeling that there is only ONE song thoughout the whole musical. Just variations of the same music with diff lyrics, maybe its just me. :)
Sorry OT... :o
Jay Mammoth 05-01-07, 01:40 AM Clerks 2
Batman Begins
Superman Returns
The Departed
Brave Story and A Scanner Darkly are a couple I've watched several times, though with the amount of titles that are out on the format, I find it very hard to find time to rewatch movies when there are so many titles that I still have to see. But another movie that I'm sure I'll be able to watch again and again is Running Scared. What a great film and a great disk.
fistofsouth 05-01-07, 03:18 AM V for Vendetta (Love the dystopian future stories)
Children of Men (See above, but why do the Brits always survive?)
The Departed (I'm Irish)
Lucky #Slevin (the vibrance of the Blue chairs and detail of the wallpaper get me every time)
Dune (because I am the Kwisatz Haderach)
wrobe73928 05-01-07, 08:57 AM Waterworld! It's such a fun movie.
Vidmaven 05-01-07, 11:12 AM HP and the Goblet of Fire (I need the rest of the series!)
Batman Begins
Superman Returns
Happy Feet
Corpse Bride
King Kong
The Thing

I want The Postman in HD
Hooked again!
OK, time to add Dreamgirls to the "Look of Perfect" list.
There's 'good' HDDVD and there's GREAT HDDVD. Then there's this: (as-good as-it gets)
Can I say Supreme? (Pun intended)
The replay list expands:
Batman Begins
POTO
Corpse Bride
Dream Girls
U-571
When guests come over and request to rewatch even over new titles, you know for sure.
ClashFan 05-13-07, 11:40 AM Batman Begins, Serenity, and Nine Inch Nails - Beside You In Time have each been watched 3 or more times by me.
Several others have been watched twice. Most of the 36 titles I have will be watched at least 1-2 times per year for the next several years...

Just checked, your right. But I like the sound of 'uncompressed'. Not as much as the roar of the Batmobile. :) though.
But aren't the release dates different?

Yes the Blu-Ray version is being released a month earlier, but that is because the HD DVD version is suppose to have some new ground breaking interactivity features, new IME stuff which hasn't been seen before, online interactivity, etc.
