I picked up The European version of The Bourne Supremacy HDDVD, I know this version is PAL, does anyone know if there is any differences between the US and the Europe version. I picked it up for 5 bux and need to know if its exaclty the same PQ and AQ wise.

Humm you're in a HD DVD forum, there's no pal/ntsc on HD DVD nor any Region. Maybe it's a question for standard dvd forum?

Its an HDDVD I have both films, I just picked up the Import for 5 bux and might take back my US copy I just bought a day prior. If the US version is better in some way ill just give the import to my brother.

If its an HD DVD, its not PAL. Your comments contradict each other.

Retailers incorrectly listing HD DVD specs is pretty typical. Amazon UK listing HD DVDs with SD DVD region specs is simply a reflection of the limited familiarity most retailers have with the new HD formats.
I've also seen retailers list HD DVDs with BD region coding specs i.e. Region A and B.
The only legitimate reason to list SD DVD region specs with an HD DVD is with combo discs; where the SD side of the disc is, of course, region coded as per the SD DVD region coding specification. I've only come across US combo releases, so the SD region should be listed as R1.
