Anyone? Everyone has been sold out!

Local Suncoast Video sold out of the HD DVD edition, but still had two BDs, both formats were $100.

I picked one up at the Virgin Megastore on Union Square in NYC yesterday. Even though the story has a huge HD-DVD/Blu-ray display set up, the discs were behind the counter at the checkout register all the way in the rear of the store in the DVD basement level. In other words, you had to really look for them (even the sales clerk I spoke to didn't know they were there).

They had one (1) copy left, and no Blu-rays. Full retail, though (ouch).

Watched Shallow Seas last night. Some of the shots in it are, without question, the best HD images I have ever seen anywhere. Never knew my 42" Sony plasma could look that good.

Got mine at FYE, ran it on sale for $69 the day after it arrived. One store had 3 copies the other had two. Their website it backordered though, dunno if you'd qualify for the $10 rebate they have and get it for $64 or not if it doesn't show up soon.
