For any of you guys who have Comcast Central on Channel 960, what does it look like for you?
My version
http://home.comcast.net/~cypherx/central.jpg
Comcast.com/newguide version
http://www.comcast.com/MediaLibrary/1/2/CM/VanityURL/images/newguide/MoVrn_ComcastCentral_A.jpg
Now what's different from what I see on my TV vs. Comcast's website:
The buttons really stand out. The picture on the website has much nicer looking 3D buttons.
The font is different. The website picture shows a really smooth anti-aliased font.
On the website picture there is more blank space at the top, sides and bottom.
The Comcast logo is bigger on the my Comcast Central.
The On Demand button is actually the On Demand logo on my Comcast Central.
The channels in the small windows are different. These change depending on the time of day, correct?
Overall it's a neat little trick they have going there. It's all broadcasted in QAM but the box overlays the buttons and text. For those who haven't seen it, the blue background is actually animated. It slowly swishes around and stuff.
My box is a 6412/2500 with firmware version 16.35. If your Comcast Central looks like the one from www.comcast.com/newguide, tell me which box you have and what firmware.
