I am hanging a 52" Samsung LCD (LN-T5265f) over my fireplace. I have studs and drywall. What is the best mount to buy. I need it to angle down and up easily, but not right and left. Is there a particular brand that makes good quality mounts?
Thanks,
The Carl
Go to www.racksandstands.com. Click LCD screen mounts.
Take a look at the Peerless ST660. That's one of the most popular tilt mounts.
I bought a PDR mount and sure like it. Unlike most on the market they are built like a tank.
PM me if you want info on where I bought mine.

Well i just bought the Sanus VMPL3b. I needed to have a large lateral shift available due to the off center studs I am mounting on.
Thanks all!!! i love these forums :)

I would like to wall mount my Panny 50" 600U over the fireplace. The issue is that the mantle is quite high, so even with a tilt, it would be uncomfortable to watch tv.
Does anyone know if there is a wall mount that can actually lower the tv in front of the fire place and then be put back up when not in use?
Thanks.
