Saturday night sit down to watch a DVD and all I get is audio, no video. All connections are fine, and the DVD-in (component cables) on my Fujitsu plasma works fine using another source. I guess the video has given up the ghost; any recommendations for a good progressive changer? The Panny has been okay, but it's best feature, the Faroudja chip, has never been used since I have the Fuji's AVM II do the processing. Of course I want excellent video quality, but I also like being able to stick in 5 CD's and put it on Random like on my Yamaha CD changer, where it will randomly pick cuts off of all 5 discs until every cut has been played. My Panny randomly plays cuts off one CD, then goes to the next CD and plays the cuts randomly, etc. Pretty lame in my opinion; not much of a "Party" mode. Any knowledge of DVD changers that will do this? Thanks, everybody.

Well, the video portion works now. There's a caution in here somewhere. What happened was, I moved the component cables coming out of the DVD player into the free component in's on my plasma, and then started rotating through all the possible inputs on the monitor while a DVD was playing. Presto, the signal showed up! What was strange, though, is how the DVD input got "lost". A week ago I further fine-tuned my Harmony 880 remote to open the DVD tray upon hitting the "Watch DVD" activity button. I had not watched a DVD since then. What in fact happened was that the Harmony started sending the DVD video signal to the "Input 4" component in on the plasma, and not to the "DVD" input. The Harmony was still switching the plasma screen input to "DVD", but the signal was going to "Input 4". Got it switched around on the Harmony website and now it works good as new. Weird, twitchey science in this Harmony.....
