Although in the future, if a DVD player is released that actually does have HDMI1.3, the reason for this will most likely be that the 1.3 transmitters will have come down in price to equal or below the 1.2 versions due to the economics of scale since more and more HD players are going to be using them. Plus, it will be another "bigger number" to put on the side of the players box eventhough it will offer no additional benefits over 1.2. :rolleyes: |
