Just recieved Planet Earth that I had preordered from Warner during the sale. As I was taking out the inner case I see the little white piece of paper come out and to my suprise its their HD DVD notice, lol.

Its the usual thing most studios put talking about how your player may not be compatible so you should upgrade your firmware, just this mentions HD DVD instead of Blu-Ray.

I just thought it was funny, someone made a boo-boo at the manufacturing plant. :p

Yes same here. With all the preorders it seems some staff had to work some extra hours and forgot to sleep. ;)

yup, got it too with my Amazon pre-order that arrived today. At first I thought it was prudent advice for either format. Then I noticed the web address was the HD-DVD marketing page "the look and sound of perfect".

My PS3's firmware is fairly up-to-date so I'm sure I'll be fine... :)

Not only that, I got a Blu-ray notice in the HD-DVD!! Mix-up!

my blu-ray came with the blu-ray notice.
