I'm running my Xbox 360 on a 50" HD rear projection Sony Bravia, using component input.

I've noticed a slight shadow of the 360 picture offset to the left. Has anyone else come across this?

I'm not sure if its always been there or not, its a case of once noticed its so obvious!

I've tried lots of different combinations to work out what's causing the shadow and the only way I can get rid of it is if the 360 runs in 50hz, which it only tests when changing HD settings. The shadow appears/ disappears on the TV's on screen menus too, so I'm pretty sure its not the 360.

Can anyone help me and explain this or should I cart this TV back to the shop (oh no!).

Thanks!

Let me clarify, this shadow I've mentioned that only appears in 60hz, is not a dark shadow at the side of the screen as mentioned in other posts but an actual fainter image offest about an inch to the left.

It is particularly noticable with dark lines, giving the inpression of a shadow. Its very annoying when streaming video.

Any ideas?

If you haven't already, suggest trying the forum here devoted to 360s. Not seeing the problem on another display would pinpoint the Bravia as the problem. -- John
