I am having a custom enclosure made and need to know the stading dimensions of the pioneer 5070! Cnet reports it as 28" and pioneer reports is at 31" I would like to know floor to top of tv while in its stand? I have 32" of clearance will that be enough? Any help is appreciated.

Pg 102 of the manual shows the panel itself is 28 1/4" high and with the speaker and stand attached is 33 1/8" high. I don't know if that is with the stand at it's lowest position or not. You could ask in the 5070 thread and possibly find someone who has the set that can measure it for you.

Here's a tip:
Go into the 5070 thread and run a search this thread for "+5070 +height". You should be able to find your answer this way.
