does anyone know if the colour recorded onto a DVD using a DVD recorder is full RGB or component colour (like a pre recorded disc)..i have always been a bit sceptical about this...but if the dvd recorder has a tuner (which im guessng is an analague with rgb colour) then shoudlnt it function like a pc and record the digital rgb colour?

i also wanted to know...when recording from external sources....such as a cable or satellite box and ther is only one rgb scart input on the recorder for these devices ..will the dvd record full rgb colour with the stereo audio onto the disc or is it re-encoded?
