I have a Vizio P50 HDM where the picture will not come on but I can hear the sound. The unit is hooked up to a cable box and then to a DVD player. It has worked fine hooked up this way for 1 1/2 yrs and now, nothing. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, still no picture, just sound. could it be a weak signal or maybe a settting is wrong? Could it be the remote settings?

TV went bad. If you bought it from Co*, return it. Or, if you bought with AMEX, get it fixed under extended warrenty from AMEX. Some other credit card also have extended warrenty.

I had a Vizio P50 plasma for about 15 months.


Loved it while I had it, unfortunately it died out on me just recently. It was a slow death, however, for about 2 weeks before it completely died out the plasma did the same thing yours did - sound, no picture about 20% of the time.

Good luck with getting a replacement.
