I've done a fair amount of research and now I'm almost ready to make a purchase. I have looked at online pricing and narrowed my choice to the 2 listed in the title. My question is this: is the 1140 worth $400 more than the 1130? This is the price difference that I have found from reputable online retailers. Other than model numbers and which came first what are the differences in these 2 sets?

Not sure what price you are getting, but the 1140 can be had for under $3k. I think the only reason to go with the 1130 is if you must have the media receiver piece. If not, then go with the 1140 and get the updated features as well as network capabilities and lasted screen, etc...

get the 1140, you can find it as russ mentions at or under $3K shipped to you, or the 5070 for much less than that.

if you see a 1130 they should be ginving you a REALLY great price since it is last years model. and a couple month it will be a 2 year old model.

the 1130 has a better picture. if you can get one for the same price as an 1140 or less, my advice is to get it.
