I've got HD8300 from TWC San Diego.

Sometimes the DVR seems to "lock itself up" and won't accept any commands from remote or the box itself. The display shows some hexdump starting from rFFF counting down to r000, then it's typically starts all over again. There is no other way around than unplug the power cord. This has happened during the prime time ruining my recordings. It sounds like DVR is accessing hard disk at the same time.

Does anybody have any clue what's happening during the hexdump?
