The only place I am ever seen this mentioned is in the Stargate subtitle thread so I thought we could give it isnt own thread. If it is somewhere else do us all a favor and save your links as I want a fresh conversation due to possible reprints ect.
............................................................ .........

I watched King Arthur last night and it is missing the subtitle track that appears only on certain foreign lang. in the film. This is suppose to show up when no sub track is engaged. There are like 7 sub tracks on the disk but non are the correct one so you cant even select it manually. It is most distracting to have to rewind the movie and turn on the subs for just a few words here and there.

On a side note I finally picked up Stargate the other day and they seemed to have fixed this on a new printing or the PS3 never had a problem with it I am not sure.

Basicly I want to know if there has been a second printing of King Arthur that fixes this issue as I have won it in a contest resently and want to know if I should open this one and give away the older version.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's annoying. It is one scene as far as I know and only a couple of minutes long. Merlin talking with other elders of the tribe in their native gaelic.

It is in 3 or 4 scenes that I noticed. The first is when Arthur spares the life of the resident blue guy after the caravan attack. He taunts Arthur to strike him down with Excaliber.

Even more annoying than I thought. Nice.

Grrr. Well, I just saved $18.

I'll buy some day when they correct it. It will likely be cheaper by then anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the problem might be even worse.

I mean, it's that there's a missing subtitle stream, they should hav e been burnt in from start, no?

I mean, I haven`t got the disc yet, but I suspect it's the kind of problem that happened with MGM's first edition of 007 flicks and alot of other titles.
