I can't confirm this as I'm at work but people on the Offical Playstation forum are saying you can download it from the Store. I guess they can set it up so it only shows up if you were invited.

I got the invite a couple weeks ago, so I'll have to see if it's there when I get home . . . four hours from now. :(

The PSN is updated. Apparently if you made the cut, the Home download icon will appear next to the Super Rub a Dub icon.

I received the sign up invite on the 25th but it appears that I didn't get in since I don't see Home available on the PSN.

No one has been able to confirm it yet. Just a couple of people saying that their 'friend' got it.

Would be nice if it is today though. :)

On one hand I would like it if there are a bunch of NDA breakers. On the other hand I don't want a bunch of potential bad press out there tarnishing what isn't even a finished product. I am torn. I want my curiosity sated but not at the cost of a pre-release product getting a bum rap. Maybe I'll get an invite the next round.

Currently it was said that, only the Internal Staff is testing it. However, hopefully the news are true about the PSN download.

On G.A.P. everyone is starting to get it.....they say that it hadn't shown up at first. They say u will find it in the bluray movies section. SOmeone said they started downloading a trailer and then it showed up. It hasn't shown up for me yet....but apprently sony is releasing name little by little as to not crashing their server. SO there is still hope if you dont have it....it should show up eventually.

Why its in the blu-ray section is beyond me. LOL

Oh yea, and those that have successfully downloaded it can't connect yet. Maybe are are indeed rolling it out in waves and then will flip the switch.

People had to provide Sony with their screename.
I would think Sony would only allow each screename to download "Home" once.

Who knows though. Would people that got in, even risk giving their name to someone else?

You had to be invited. Then you supplied your name and PSN ID. If your "one of the lucky ones" the Home Beta download will be available to you in the store when you sign in with said PSN ID.

Ah I haven't been reading my underground emails anyways after the first few seemed like nothing but advertising. Guess I should start looking at them now & then.

So, the Beta is out for the select few that are GAP members. Kind of crappy always giving the same users beta after beta. They should have opened it up by randomly selecting any underground user.

No, mine was in the 1st icon in the main Features section as soon as PSN loads up.

Mine showed up under the main screen. Played a couple of minutes and things look good so far.

I am in the HOME beta and logged in. So far, it's exactly what you see in the trailers. When I logged in, it showed 99 users of a possible 100,000.

It's got the standard Tiger Woods style character customization. Can only do head (face, eyes, etc) and clothes. There is a news section that mentions body types and more racial options are forthcoming at the end of may.

If you hit "start" a little psp pops up that shows your in-home options such as travel to different areas (you don't HAVE to walk), add furniture, news, chat, customize, etc.

Just walked into the common area.

Just downloading Home beta now too. Later in the evening I received an email confiming that I've been accepted.

I'm impressed.
Voice chat works well too. Bowling and the games are cool.

Unless they expand the number of closed beta participants (e.g. 20000 from 15000), the open beta is set to open in August.

I was hoping to get in, but to no avail :( What gets me is that a lot of kids got in who lied about their age... I'm quite bitter lol!

Well, just because someone else is dim enough to post pics they aren't supposed to post doesn't mean I'm willing to risk getting kicked out of the Beta. :D

Seems pretty clear to me.

Guess it is in there. But the best thing about large betas like that is that there will always be a couple people that will have no problem letting everything out of the bag. Plus it seems like the NDA is written in a way to keep publications and real news outlets from running full disclosure stories on the contents of the beta.

Oh well, have fun with the beta to those who got in, hopefully they will keep letting people in each week like Live.

I got the email also, so maybe some of us will be added later. I wouldn't mind doing the Home beta at all. Since I've been a GAP member the only thing I got to do was a PSP beta. I think it will be a great way to display and share media.

The leaked pictures look amazing, it's a lot more detailed than I expected.

It was so disappointing, because on gmail, the first bit of the message is written in the subject line, saying "Welcome to Home Beta". Then I read the full message and it told me I wasn't actually picked. Oh well!

I haven't seen any shots of the "hall of fame" I wonder if that portion with the "milestones" isn't included in a place you can go.

According to the G.A.P. forums a second wave of invites went out last night. Can't wait to get out of work to see if I have a new icon in my PS Store.

I'm glad more invites are being sent out.... it was getting boring seeing the same (idle dancing) people online (around 30 people), and was getting pretty quiet. It will definately get more interesting once the rooms get packed with people.

People are saying if you have a Hi-Def TV it was on the first page since it makes two rows. On standard def TV's it was on page two of the features since there is only one row.

I just showed up on the first page that pops up when you enter the store. It's not even listed on the event calender in the upper right corner. It's just there next to the newer PS1 demos that they've been selling. There was no message or anything, just an icon to download. It's a big file, but downloads quick at 1:00AM when I found it.

make sure you check the 2nd page of the featured section because if you don't buy anything then the home icon could be moved onto the 2nd page.

No love for me this week as far as the Home Beta.

Mine still only shows Warhawk, Even though I did download AND install Home on my PS3 today. It may not show up until I actually log in and Use Home though...I dunno. I had to leave for work, and didnt get to actually run Home on my PS3 yet.
