I'm looking for a dvd upconverter that would work well with my Mitsu HD1000U projector.

I dont want to spend a fortune but could swing 200-300.



I would love one that has a coax in to accept cable tv input and pump that out when not watching a dvd (do these even exist?)


I guess I'm looking for 1080p as the mitsu HD1000 will do 1080p with HDMI it seems.

Since the native resolution on the HD1000u is only 720p you would probably be better off with a DVD player that does a good job outputting at 720p.. If you upconvert it to 1080p then the projector has to re-scale it down to 720p.

I would probably recommend one of the Oppo's you can find the threads in this forum
