I've already had the 1080p trailer on my PS3. I still downloaded it to compare, but didn't notice any difference.

My friends dad works at Apple HQ in Cupertino, Cali, and I live about 10 minutes from there. So he gave me a bunch of Apple software for free.

WOW!!!! Great trailer and image quality, and the movie looks like it'll be REALLY good (especially since there are now different kinds of pirates, including ones from singapore!)...I LOVE blu-ray! The trailer really psyches me up for the first two titles as well...

I had been purposely avoiding anything about this movie, as I knew I was going to see it and buy it anyway, but I could not pass up downloading this trailer.

It looks great. I cannot wait. I love Blu-ray and these movies are one of the main reasons. This movie is going to rock.

Audio quality is garbage compared to the one on Apple's site.

They obviously downmixed that track to stereo using Quicktime, and even though it's a higher bitrate, the dynamics and clarity were killed.

Good point. I'll probably watch it even though all the clips from SM3 probably spoiled the movie for me.

They usually do it to save space. PQ is decent, but AQ is stereo.

i predict this movie will be the biggest grossing movie of 07!!!

Wow.....saw the trailer last night and LOVED IT. I can't wait for this in the theaters and on Bluray. I liked the first one a lot, second was OK, but the third one looks fantastic! I agree with above poster, I think POTC3 will be the highest grossing movie of 07

Very excited about this movie. I agree and think this will beat out spiderman 3 and be the highest grossing movie of the year.
Its nice being able to get this on blu-ray in the near future especially knowing the effort and hard work Disney will put into this disc.

You obviously didn't watch the first 20 seconds too carefully did you...

I will buy POTC 1 & 2 but I think they are not that good. . . but I'm getting old and need more storyline and less CGI effects.

Really? Don't know... Spider-man? Chick-appeal... You might be right. Either POTC3 or SM3.
