I was just wondering how the picture quality of some of the high end upconverting DVD players compare to the DVD playback of XBMC on an ariginal moded XBox. I am currently using XBMC and am pretty impressed with how it looks at 1080i. Right now I just have a 30" 16:9 direct view CRT but am probably going to get a projector soon. Is there any improvement in going to a upconverting DVD player?

i'd love to see some caps on this as well.

i think if you go with an OPPO, it will be better quality, from what i've read, but i'm curious about PQ on xbmc. if it's good, i'll just go with that.
