While I'd sell a lung for the set, I don't see it hitting shelves anytime soon. ( :( )

It's getting released on HD DVD in Japan during the summer. Only think I've heard so far.

It's HBO so it'll be on Blu-Ray, but there isn't a date at all yet. While it is Dreamworks/Paramount, if they screw us on audio, Ima hafta killa bitch!

They better put the audio in PCM or one of the lossless containers. The DD sounded very good, it's going to be thuper-duper in PCM or lossless.

This was the first thing I watched when I made the plunge from a 32" sdtv to a 50" dlp. I had never seen it before, and frankly, I wasnt expecting much. I had heard from some people it had that made for TV look and feel.

Man I was glued and I watched half the first night and the rest the second.

Yup.... and because of this thread.. I'm gonna watch it all over again. There isn't a set that I've ever given more praise over than this set. Truly magnificent.

This is the one series I must have. It is my all time favorite. I hope they don't mess with the audio on this one. :)

This is awesome movie, I would by a new player if I had to for this box set alone in either format... And yes they hopefully better do a good job on the audio but what I heard from the Japan release is that version is only DD+
