Before i even ask the question, let me say that i am well aware that tweaking the settings of the Casablanca 3 is entirely dependant on room size, acoustics, dimensions, etc. Having said that, i'm in a small open room with my unit, but wanted some advice or tweaks to try out that might help engage the sound to be more spatial. I have the Cas 3 (all extreme dacs), 6 shooter (compli and tosh hddvd runs through it), hdtivo 3 (optical), and d-vhs (optical as well). Any suggestions?
As a start, what speakers are you using and what crossover settings have you chosen? What are your default mode settings? The more info on your room/system the better....

First and foremost are proper speaker placement and listener seat placement. Once these are optimised then look at other areas.
If you don't have a clue as to how to go about this, I would start calling around and find someone who says they do then go listen to their setup to be sure they can also walk the walk.
If you live in So.Cal. I can help out.
