So I was cleaning the lens on my Sony Pearl and notice there is dust on the inside of the lens. Is there a safe way to clear it?

If you have to ask the question you should probly have somone else do it.

seriously, anyone out there who can provide any insight? has anyone had the same thing happen and done this/had it done?

i guess my question should have been: is it pretty straightforward to take the lens assembly apart or are there major risks involved. if it's the latter, then sure, i'd send it away. but there's no harm in asking the question before i send take it down, send it in, wait for it to come back, etc.

I wouldn't risk shipping my projector anywhere to be fixed. Just get the real manual and do it. Disassembly is clearly shown.

The user manual is a total waste.
