I just wanted to start a thread in the DVD players section for any questions or concerns that may be out there about the absolute reference image quality that is the Oppo 981 via SDI

the Oppo 981 via SDI is pretty much my new reference pick for SDI image quality, so I decided to get off my ass and provide AVS members with a great deal on an amazing SDI DVD transport via a exclusive powerbuy

I recently did a comparison with what many would claim is identical to SDI performance in the Oppo 970 480i HDMI output, the Oppo 981 via SDI came out ahead, while the Oppo 970 even had some issues, here is the comparison below:

having modified and compared 300+ DVD players easily over the years, I am 99% sure that the Oppo 981 via SDI is my new reference, the SDI output is so clean and so amazing it must be seen to be believed
