This thread is for everyone that has folded more than 100 WU on their PS3's. Other folding talk can be discussed in the main folding thread.

Today I reached 100 WU and am proud !

Who else has more than 100 WU folded on their PS3 ?

After finishing my 100th WU on the PS3 I shutdown the PS3 from folding more. Wife doesn't like me leaving the PS3 on 24/7, however fortunately doesn't care about me leaving my desktop PC on. So the PC is on folding 24/7 and best of all, since its a quad-core computer it generates more points than the PS3 does. :)

108 PS3 WUs as of now. "Score" seems to be what counts however.

I must admit that I am thinking about quiting folding on my PS3 now that I am past 100. I have already done it much more that I thought that I would. I was interested in getting my ranking down as much as I could. Out of 700,000 I think I am in the low 40,000's or so. I will have to check. It is starting to slow down now of course as I get into the older more hooah of the folders. I think that if I run it 24/7 like I have been I can keep getting lower but its slower now. I am also worried that I am damaging my PS3 for no reason.

I'm at 120 now with the PS3. I'll probably keep it running as it hasn't shown any problems with the hardware.

The way the PS3 is engineered I do not think it'll have any problems staying on 24/7.

The system itself has self regulating fans that spin faster if the system temperature gets high and from what I have seen, they stay spin fairly low even when folding 24/7. Basically means the system doesn't really get that hot. :)

I'd leave mine on, except the misses doesn't like it.

Well, it's a PS3 not an xbox360 so you don't have to worry about it melting down. ;)
