I have an issue with LG DN191H. While playing the dvd, it is switched off and on Its happening a lot of times. It used to work good for couple of days before. It started happening from yesterday.

Did anyone else faced similar issue with this DVD player? Please do reply.

I called up LG customer service to find out what options i have. They said it costs 69$ for labor. I bought this new one for 70$ after 30$ rebate.

I honestly recommend NOT to buy LG DN191H though its 30 bucks cheap. The lifetime of this dvd player is just 5 months.

Try taking the cover off and take it out of your AV rack (if applicable) as it may be overheating. Add a quiet 80 mm 12v PC fan using a 12v AC/DC wallwart and see if it fixes your problem.
