Hey guys, I have just hooked up my Epson TW700 projector to my HTPC with a 10 metre HDMI to HDMI cable, and a DVI to HDMI converter. When the image is still there is no image corruption, however when there is motion on the screen it displays vertical lines of blue garbage. The strange thing is that it is intermittent; it will stop doing it momentarily and then come back straight away.

What do you think might be the cause?

It could be that your relatively long cable length is putting the quality of the signal at a marginal level, so the electronics occasionally lose the lock of the signal. Two ways to troubleshoot are:
1) reduce the resolution (say from 720p down to 480p).
2) use a shorter cable length

If the problem goes away under either of the 2 circumstances above, the signal is marginal and you may need either a better cable or usage of a booster.
