I'm in the market for a good 42" LCD TV for under $1,500.00. I'm currently looking at the Sharp AQUOS 42" LC-42D62U. But so far in 2 different forums I have had 3 people suggest I go with this company called VIZIO. Are there LCD's that great? There price point is VERY good but I don't know about reliability, & picture quality?

Great bang for the buck if you are not anal about PQ.
IF you watch the content more then the TV the Vizio is a great bargain. If you are the type to look for shadow detail, perfect color rendition rather then the program you will not be satisfied.
I had bad luck with a Vizio 42" HDTV. Luckily, Costco's return policy was top quality, because Vizio's customer support was terrible. When returning it this weekend, the lady at the return desk said "We are seeing lots of these returned...and for all sorts of weird problems."
Maybe you'll have better luck, though.
