No, I'm just north of you and I havent' found any place to demo it either.
Have you tried that place on Dixie Hwy in Waterford (I think it's called HOD's)? I haven't stopped by there yet, but they might.

Really there is no good reason for any dealer to demo the Panasonic projectors, just so they can then be purchased for less than cost on the internet.

2nd that - they are way too widely available, at prices so much lower than many dealers have access to that you'll be very unlikely to see one at a retail shop.
Look for forum members...or (and I'm not necessarily condoning this) look to certain stores that sell them with liberal return policies.

Thanks, but the 2000U sounds like a better unit than I am willing to put money out for... so I better not.:D

Run any SD below SD-DVD? The AE1000U excels there over most any other 1080p projector.

Owning one, I am like... Shoot just pick up the refurb. :) The PQ is exremely good on the Ae1000U.
