I've been trying to buy an LCD that supports 1920x1080 native pc connection but without luck so far.

1 -- I bought the Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 40" and tried both VGA connection and the HDMI to MAC-MINI at 1920x1080 but ended up with blank screen at this resolution. the manual stated that it supports up to 1400x1050 pc connection and 1080p works only for video.

2 -- After searching online, I read somewhere that The Sharp D62U series are HDMI 1.2 which supports PC connection via DVI at 1080p. I went ahead and exchanged the Bravia with Sharp 42" LC42D62U. The pc connection never worked at 1920x1080, in addition the manual states a max pc resolution at 1360x768

I want to replace the 42” Sharp with the proper LCD that would support 1920x1080.

Which LCD is well tested to work with 1920x1080?

Your help and advice is greatly appreciated

Sceptre 42" also supports 1:1 pixel mapping at 1920x1080p resolutions.
