I was set on getting a 720 but I recently found the Prestigo (http://www.consumer.philips.com/consumer/catalog/tree/en/us/consumer/home_entertainment_gr_us_consumer/remote_controls_ca_us_consumer/ce/_productId_SRU9600_17_US_CONSUMER/Universal_Remote_Control+SRU9600_17)
on my favorite Geek Site (http://www.thinkgeek.com)

I have a Optoma HD70, Sony DAVFX900W Motorola PVR HD cable box, and also Psyclone HDMI and Component switch boxes. all with remotes. PS3 is a no go and I don't really care about the 360 or Wii as far as remotes go.

The Prestigo touts its simplicity but I am afraid that it might be its down fall. I just hope it will set up macros so that I can switch between devices through the switchs. I have looked for reviews of the Philips and come up very short. any input would be great!

Afterthought. I also realize the 720 is rechargeable, and has the PC link and all that jazz. I would have already bought a Harmony 550 if the battery life wasn't horrid. The battery life on the Prestigo is rated at being good. I just really like the design of the Philips. However I must demand function over form.

I have had a Harmony 550 that I got in January. I got about 2 1/2 months out of the set of AA that came with the remote. To me, that isn't too bad.
