Anyone know which of these these two upconverting units will do a better job at upconverting standard 480 dvds into 1080p (for a 1080p TV)?

I am confused about the DVD-S53K. Most sites description states 720p and 1080i outout, however, many merchants is advertising it as a upconverting 1080p DVD player. What is the truth?

The "truth" is that the S53 can do 1080p upconversion as well as 1080i and 720p.
