There are a bunch of tiny black dots all over SD content on my Sony KV-30HS420. 720p/1080i content looks great however. What system menu settings should I mess with to possibly correct this annoying issue? http://aycu16.webshots.com/image/13695/2005521869674842296_th.jpg (http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2005521869674842296)

Surprise him one day and turn off one of the color guns and see what he says when he turns the TV on :P

Geez Ratman, does it bug you that much that you had to create another thread on it....... btw ClayPigeon, I'd most likely get beaten down with a belt if I did that. =)
Yes...
7 threads is a tad overboard from the same poster on the same subject.

Here's something interesting. When viewing SD content under the 720p or 1080i input, the artifacts do not appear. If I run SD content under its native resolution, they appear.

Ratman, try taking it up with an admin instead of crying about it in this thread plz.
See my response in the other thread you started... with pictures. ;)

Ratman, cry me a river. Stop posting if you're not going to help. Like I said, take it up with an admin.

LOL. This thread is funny. It's all based on the history of your "username". Anyways, it's either signal noise or your TV's B-Board is bad.

Thanks for the reply, like.no.other. If it's signal noise, any way to reduce it? If the B-Board is bad, would it not effect the HD inputs?

I don't know 100% but that's mainly the problem if there are artifacts on any Sony TV. Call Sony and see if they can see to fix your TV.
