I've been avoiding buying a Samsung HD QAM tuner since DVD recorders are starting to show up with digital tuners. But so far everything I see mentioned doesn't have the ability to output HD to my TV. Am I missing something? Is there an affordable recorder out there that I can use with my HD ready LCDTV?

No, and none on the horizon. This has, and is being, discussed extensively here. Just poke around the threads. Everybody wants one, but nobody makes one.

Then if you want to start enjoying HD on your HD-Ready TV, go buy a real digital HD tuner, while you can.

Already have HD on a couple of TV's via STB, but I want to get rid of the Comcast box rental cost. I got a $100 CC rebate card I can use toward a Samsung H260F tuner.
