Looks like they may be dropping the 4000? Although it is still on the products page of their site, it's off the front page, and I noticed some resellers no longer have it.

There's also the 5010 and the 5030. Hard to tell what they are - look to be based on the 5000, but no real differences. Maybe they're just the 5000 with the HD tuner included?

The M4000P has been replaced by the M4000PA, which adds a tuner slot for optional upgrade.

M4100SH was just released with SATA, HDMI and H.264.

The M5000U has been replaced by the M5100SH which is not shipping yet. No word on the M5010.

When you say that the 5000 has been replaced by the 5100, do you mean that the 5000 is not being produced?

Over in England the price difference is such that the 5100 is way too expensive, especially when using a standard definition TV.

Kei Clark,

Do you know why the M4100SH is not shown on TVIX's website? Actually, it is, but only on the comparison chart, it's not in the 'products' list.

The M5000A is still on the product list, but I believe it is being manufactured by demand and the M4000/4100 seems to be more popular. There will likely be a European model, the M5030P but I have no information on those models.

Not sure why the M4100SH is not on their site. Most likely an oversight. There are other models on the roadmap not shown on the website.

I'm holding out waiting for the mfg to support MKV files. Very nice product otherwise.

What can we do to pursue them to add this feature? since it already support H264 codec, I imagine it won't be hard to add MKV file format.
