I got the MG-35 a couple months ago, thanks to the helpful people here, and I love it. Unfortunately the remote just stopped working (it could be the battery but it seems like it should last longer than that). Anyway, I had been meaning to get a universal remote, so this is just more incentive.

Does anyone have recommendations for one, and how easy is it to set up witht the MG-35?

Also, does it handle all of the functionality of the regular remote? Specifically, the "skip to a certain time in this file" button?

Price is a concern, I'd like to keep it below $100. A little more is possible, but I see that some cost nearly $300 (!) and definitely do not want to go near that high.

I don't need any fancy functionality - just something to work with my TV, DVD player, and this (and NYC TimeWarner digital cable would be great too).
