Hey folks,

Pardon me if I'm posting this in the wrong section but I just picked up an Eiki LC-NB1 (3) LCD projector at my local pawn shop for $40 and have some questions. It appears as if the multiple LCDs are not aligned properly as there is some color ghosting, also the image has a pink tinge to it. I assume an LCD needs replacement and some alignment adjustments need to be made. I ordered an identical projector with a faulty power supply from eBay for $12 and want to use it for parts. If anybody has any experience in doing this or are familiar with this specific problem please let me know. I realize this thing is pretty old but back in 1999 it retailed for over $5000; and with 2 bulbs it should last me a while. Not bad for about $52

Lcd alignment isn't really user adjustable as most are soldered into position. It could also be an issue with the lens array and a severe problem with either is likely the result from rough handling (pj's been dropped etc.) at somepoint in it's life.

Your best bet/hope will be that the ebay unit with the bad ps has a good optics path and swapping pwr supplies gets you decently operating pj.

Good luck!!!
