I got one to help transfer my games to my ELITE. They have a bottom-less pit of memory! :eek:

i suspect the 64mb cards are going away, hence the small price increase. Plus it comes with geometry wars which is pretty cool.

Me too. It took awhile but I didn't have to wait on the transfer cable which I still applied for.

I had about 3 market place downloads that were over the card's 465MB or so formatted limit and I had to re-download those. Everything else fit. I was able to copy over XBLA games a dozen or more at a time.

The new 512MB card was released in part because the 50MB limit on XBLA games placed on developers was removed. Can't remember off the top of my head what it is now.

64mb cards were $29 at BB yesterday when I was looking.

512 memory cards rule!

I ordered a new 64MB at Amazon for $25.

Although the 512MB at $50 is more megs for your dollar, I had no need for the extra storage since I'm only going to use the memory card to enable me to "roam" with my Live profile to rack up some co-op achievements when I go over my friends places :cool:

Costco has the 512mb for $40. They also have 12mo Xbox Live for $40.
