Please pardon if this is old news. Twice now on startup my RS1 has displayed image with very blue cast almost like startuo blue screen was being displayed with image. It clears with a restart. I am guessing this is an internal glitch. Has this happened to anyone else? Ideas? Worries?

Do you have a live video feed on startup?

Yes as PVR is "always on" what I have been doing is turning DVD on the switching back to PVR/DirecTv. I may also try cycling PJ in as a solutution next time it happens.
Why do you ask?

I don't know about the RS1, but some projectors don't like a live feed at startup. Try disconnecting the PVR before startup and see if you still get the blue cast.

My Optoma H79 doesn't like it either. I turn on the projector first, then the video source second, and everything is fine. Refreshingly, my dVision 1080p doesn't give a damn one way or the other.

Are you using an HDMI connection? I don't have the RS1, but sometimes when I startup my Sony HS-51 with HDMI the colors are weird, almost like the Red, Green or Blue portion is missing. Usually switching to another input then back to HDMI clears it.
HDMI. It's not just a connection, it's an adventure. :D

I haven't seen mine start up with color issues but it does occasionally start with a synchronization/timing problem. The image appears to be "doubled". Changing channels solves the problem.
