I am trying to find (if it exists) an upconverting DVD player that will give me 720p over the component output. The reason being is that my TV is a cheaper, off-brand LCD and when I had my PS3 hooked up to it, it semeed to not handle the HDCP handshake very well*. Can anybody recommend something, or am I fighting a losing battle?

* When connected via HDMI, the TV would flicker with No Signal until I turned it off and on. This happened when I would power the system up or start/quit a game.
