Should I be using HDMI to DVI, the Composites that I am using right now. or what? What gives the best performance for my Samsung SD51 TV? Just installed the box today if that matters.

For HD resolutions... component at a minimum. HDMI/DVI may or may be better.

Right now i'm using the composite that has 5 ends with 5 colors. Should I stick to that or get HDMI to DVI?

That sounds like component paired with analog audio. (Let me guess, one is green, one is blue, two are red, and one is white.) HDMI or DVI might give you a bit more, but you should to a trial run.

What kind of TV is a Samsung SD51? I can't find any info on it?

Well, if it has HDMI or DVI ports, then it's probably an HD box. I get a slightly better image using an HDMI cable for Hi-def channels, but for standard def I get quite a bit better images out of component cables.

I'm using a different box/cable co, though, so your mileage may vary. Wouldn't hurt to try different cables, though, if you can return them if they don't work out.

I haven't noticed a significant difference between HDMI and component video for HD.

This is also my experience using a Motorola 6200 and Panasonic 60U plasma set.

Further, my analog channels look way better with the TV's built-in tuner than they do from any output of the STB.
