I am upgrading from the Samsung 32' LNS3251D and am trying to make a final decision between two TV's, one LCD and one Plasma. They are priced almost the same where I am purchasing them, so that is not a factor.

I am going to either buy the Samsung LNT4053H 40" LCD or the Samsung HPT4264 Plasma.

The room will never be getting direct sunlight as blinds will almost always by closed and only let ambient light in. I will primarily watch TV, with occasional movies, and regular Xbox 360 use. Any advice on which one to pull the trigger on?

Also, any TV comprable to these that would be better?

The plasmas have better black levels, which I find great when playing 360 or watching movie on my hdmi upconvertion player.

I have to say go with the plasma. I also have the 4264 and the picture it's amazing.
